Cloisonné Lapel Pins

Cloisonne represents the highest and oldest art form which dates to the beginnings of the Chinese civilization. Each piece is die struck into the best quality copper or bronze and color filled by hand using a special powder enamel material that were developed from ancient Chinese art which appears to be the highest valued item available. The cloisonné is then baked at 1400-1500 degrees. Each piece is plated using 24K Gold. You can also have your pins plated in Silver or even Copper. The highly polished and glassy finish is only achieved if the artisan has great skill and patience. Thickness is 1.5mm
